Magra is a small village of 1031 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Magra depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Magra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Magra's pin code is 342302[4], and village code is 01931000. The area of Magra is segregated as 857.98 hectares unirrigated, the 19.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 153 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Magra is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1311 and has total administration over 216 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell woolan mats and make their living.
