Maghigawa is a small village of 234 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maghigawa depends on Naini, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 37.00% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Maghigawa's pin code is 211008[4], and village code is 05532600. The area of Maghigawa is segregated as 184 hectares irrigated area, 0.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Naini and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
