Maggie Kimberl[1][1][2][2] is a Louisville, Kentucky-based journalist[3][3] who focuses on the distilled spirits industry[4][4], specifically American whiskey[5][5] and whiskey cocktails[6][6]. She is the Content Editor of American Whiskey Magazine[7][7], a contributor to Whisky Magazine[8][8], and has contributed to many other publications since 2013. She is the co-Chair of the World Whiskies Awards USA[9][9], a professional whiskey taster[10][10], and is a Kentucky Colonel and ninth-generation Louisvillian[11][11]. She previously served as the President of the Bourbon Women Association[12][12][13][13][14][14][15][15][16][16], a nationwide organization founded to boost womens' visibility both as whiskey consumers and producers.
