Maen Mahmoud Razouqi is a global leadership executive. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways a National Airline[1] that was established in 1954 as a regional aviation industry leader. He is also one of the founders and a Director of AFKAR Ventures[2] founded in 2020 that is first mover EnergyTech MENA investment enterprise with a clear and focused vision that aims to help shape a sustainable and independent future for the region’s energy tech sector.

Before joining Kuwait Airways as CEO in 2021, he was the President & GM for Schlumberger Northern Middle East Region[3], located in Kuwait City, Kuwait, a position he assumed in July 2017 until July 2020.

Prior to that role, Maen held various Senior Management positions including the Vice President & GM for Schlumberger Southeast Asia[4] based in Kula Lumpur from 2014 to 2017, Global Marketing & Technology Vice President for the Reservoir Characterization Group from 2012 to 2014 managing the R&D and M&A portfolios based out of Paris.

He started his career with Schlumberger in 1998 as a Field Engineer based in Sonora, Texas and has worked since then in his home country, Kuwait, and internationally in North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe in various operational and managerial roles including Technical, HR, Sales, Operations and Marketing in over 10 countries in over 23 years of global experiences.

Maen holds a Civil Engineering Degree from Arizona State University and a Diploma of Strategic Finance from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and has written many oil & gas related papers and received several industry awards. He also sets on the board and advisory committees of multiple organizations in the region.

He is also the Chairman of the Noven International which is an IoT technology and solutions venture based in Houston. He is also the Chairperson of wasel a Last Mile Digital Integrator. Board Member of IMCC a marine service venture established in 1974. Also, he serves as a senior advisor to Union Trading Company which is an integrated family retail and consumer services company established in 1949 based in Kuwait.
