Madhoni is a small village of 371 hectares in Bharatpur Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madhoni depends on Bharatpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Madhoni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Madhoni's pin code is 321026[4], and village code is 01035700. The area of Madhoni is segregated as 251 hectares irrigated area, 100 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
