Rodrigo Pinheiro (born 3 September 1997)[1] known professionally as Madd Rod is a DJ and record producer of House music|House and Techno from Lisbon, Portugal[2]. His growing catalog started in 2017, the year he released his first melodic techno record, "Human Institution" signed by the Danish record label Unique Revolution, and "Afraid to Love" on the Spanish record label Deeplomatic Recordings[3]. That same year, he moved to Tübingen, where he launched his first record label Inner Shah Recordings[2][4].

Since then, Madd Rod has summed new records to his back catalog and in 2020 he edited the singles "Narmer", "No One's Fault"[2][5], and "Belderone", as well as his 20th release[6], his first studio album "Dystopian Desert"[7] released on Inner Shah Recordings on July 31st — which had its second round with an EP of remixes[8][9][10]. The same year, he assumed a label manager and co-founder role on the newborn record label VIAGE.

He was a resident DJ of The Lounge Cocktail & Shisha Bar in Vale do Lobo between 2019 and 2021, having also been responsible for the DJ bookings of the venue's ten years celebrations. He has played in nightclubs and festivals around Europe like Lux Frágil (Lisbon)[11], Plano B (Porto), Ministerium Club (Lisbon)[12], AVA Club (Berlin)[13], Le Tribunal (Paris)[14], Electric Sundown 2019 (Tübingen)[15], among others.
