Madawas is a small village of 1294 hectares in Taranagar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madawas depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Madawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Madawas's pin code is 331304[4], and village code is 00575200. The area of Madawas is segregated as 1253.67 hectares unirrigated, the 12.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TARANAGAR and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
