Madariya is a small village of 1086 hectares in Deogarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madariya depends on DEOGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Madariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Madariya's pin code is 313331[4], and village code is 02972700. The area of Madariya is segregated as 73 hectares irrigated area, 85 hectares unirrigated, the 122.37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 806 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DEOGARH and Rajsamand to sell earthen pot and make their living.
