Machhar Khani is a small village of 1215 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Machhar Khani depends on Jobner, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Machhar Khani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Machhar Khani's pin code is 303328[4], and village code is 01497800. The area of Machhar Khani is segregated as 102.91 hectares irrigated area, 948.36 hectares unirrigated, the 126.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
