MAHELA is a small village of 2891 hectares in Rawatsar Tehsil in Hanumangarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. MAHELA depends on Rawatsar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. MAHELA is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. MAHELA's pin code is 335524[4], and village code is 00446400. The area of MAHELA is segregated as 2743.1 hectares unirrigated, the 63.78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 83.83 hectare area not available for cultivation.
