MAAsterG (born Rajesh Kumar, 20 December 1964) is a Spiritual and Motivational Life Guide based in India. MAAsterG through his lectures, which are referred to as 'Vaanis' , focusses on spreading the message of wellness, peace, happiness and joy throughout the world.
Early life
Rajesh Kumar was born on 20 December 1964 in Gurugram, Haryana. When Rajesh was still a child, his family moved to Delhi, where Rajesh continued his education. In his late twenties, Rajesh moved to Mumbai for work where he started and ran his own business. He continued running his business until 2016, when he retired, handing the business over to his son.
Later years and spiritual experience
At 42 years old, Rajesh was diagnosed with very high blood pressure, cholesterol and a myriad of other health issues. He was advised by his doctor to take precautions to recover his health as in the alternate he could even have to face an early death. Prompted by this, in November 2007, Rajesh set out to find the true purpose of his life and had his first spiritual experience in Mussorie, India which transformed his life.
Post this experience in 2007, Rajesh started delivering his Vaanis which were based on what his own experience to seekers in a private setting and continued to do so for nearly 16 years, until he decided to take his Vaanis public in December 2023.
Public work
Since going public with his Vaanis in December 2023, MAAsterG has been invited to speak on the topic of stress management at various professional Institutions like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital - Delhi,[1] Indian Chamber of Commerce Kolkata,[2] Saket Bar Association Delhi,[3] Corporates like Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (UJVNL) Dehradun[4] and a number of other premier institutions. Given MAAsterG's focus helping youngsters deal with stress and improve their mental well being, he was invited to deliver his lectures on these topics at some of the premier educational institutions including DAV University Jalandhar [5],JK Public School Jammu,[6] Galgotia University Noida,[7] SMVDU Katra[8] and many more.[9]
Global Spirituality Mahotsav (GSM)
GSM[10] was organised by the Ministry of Culture, India together with Heartfulness at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad, India from 14-17 March 2024. GSM 2024 was the world's first ever congregation of various spiritual traditions, interfaith leaders, yoga gurus, and holistic wellness experts. MAAsterG was invited to address Global Spirituality Mahotsav in their main plenary session where he spoke about Spirituality in Daily Life.[11]
