M. Hasan Akber (born 26 January 1968), is a practicing Senior Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is the current Advocate General of Sindh, current chairman of Sindh Bar Council and former Additional Prosecutor General Accountability (APGA), National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He was awarded by His Excellency, The President of Pakistan in 2021, by Chairman NAB in 2021 and by Chairman NAB in 2020.
He is also the current Vice-President of the KPSIAJ (Khoja Pirhai Shia Isna Asheri Jamaat), former Member Appellate Tribunal, Sindh Bar Council, former trainer of Judicial Officers at Sindh Judicial academy and former trainer of Law officers at State Bank of Pakistan. He has assisted United Nations partner NGOs in drafting of federal legislation "Domestic Violence (Prevention & Protection) Act 2012", has assisted United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in drafting of national legislation title "Prevention of Harassment at Workplace" and "Domestic Violence Against Women and Children", was a Member Legal Committee of "Acid survivors foundation Pakistan" (ASF-P), have assisted UNDP, UNIFEM and UNICEF.
