Lumbansar is a small village of 1959 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lumbansar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lumbansar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Lumbansar's pin code is 342022[4], and village code is 01980400. The area of Lumbansar is segregated as 1905.34 hectares unirrigated, remaining 53.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.
