Life and career
His father, also called Luis, was a court clerk who lived in Córdoba. Prol studied law at the Catholic University of Córdoba.[3] In his youth, he was a militant of Montoneros, which resulted in his imprisonment by the Military Junta. He was freed due to his father's connections.[4] During Carlos Menem's presidency he served as Secretary of Public Companies (1990), Subsecretary of Energy and Secretary of Social Development (1995).
