Luigi Strangis (born 26 February 2001) is an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He achieved fame following his victory in the twenty-first edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi.


Biography

Born in Lamezia Terme on 26 February 2001, he released his first studio album Don't Ever Let Go in 2018 for the record label Dissonanze Records, later making himself known with his participation in the initial phase of the twenty-first edition of the talent show Amici by Maria De Filippi since September 2021. She gained access to the evening phase of the program by joining the team captained by Rudy Zerbi and Alessandra Celentano. In May 2022 he reached the final, winning the program.

During his participation in Amici he released the singles Vivo, Muro, Partirò da zero, Tondo and Partecipami stanotte. The most successful was Partecipami stanotte, certified gold on the following 5th August by the Italian Music Industry Federation (FIMI) and remained in the Italian singles chart for 14 consecutive weeks. On 3 June 2022, the first EP Strangis was released on 21co, which rose directly to the top of the Italian album charts, with which the singer obtained his second gold record on the following 2 September.

The following single, Stai bene su tutto, was released in September 2022 to anticipate the second studio album, I want the skirt.

On December 16, 2022, he returns to the radio with the new single from his second studio album, Looks like Woodstock.
