Luan Marcelo Silva Pereira Gallagher (born September 27, 2000 in Bristol) is a British-Brazilian actor[1][2] and author, known for his appearances in Don't Look Up[3][4] and Quando Se É Jovem.[5] Besides being the author of the "Gallagher" trilogy, which features the books: When You're Young: Behind the Cameras,[6] Magic Beyond Words: The Luan Gallagher's Story,[7] and Potter and Me: How Much Harry Changed My Life.[8] He is also the author of the book, Supernatural - The Road So Far.[9]

Gallagher was born on September 27, 2000. He still resides in the city of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.
Career
Luan showed interest in acting at the age of 11, when he attended a free theater course in his neighborhood. Over the years he has been taking theater courses until in 2019 he gets certification at the Senac Theater workshop in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. also signs a 1-year contract where he becomes a Model. Still in 2019, he begins to work as a Screenwriter and Protagonist of the film "Quando Se É Jovem"[5]. In 2021, she appeared in the film Don't Look Up[3].
Author
In April 2021, he released his first book, When You're Young: Behind the Cameras, where he tells the construction, the difficulties, and the stories behind the scenes of the film, When You're Young.
On July 31, 2021, he released his second book, Magic Beyond Words: The Story of Luan Gallagher, where he tells the magical stories, his personal life and his career, and everything that made him reach the publication of his book, When You're Young: Behind the Cameras, until the production of the film.
On February 26, 2022, he released his latest book, Potter and Me: How Much Harry Changed My Life, where he tells how much the "Harry Potter" saga influenced and changed his life. Completing thus the Gallagher trilogy.
Personal Life
For years, Luan lived his worst moments in the house where he lived with his parents, where he lived with fights and frequent arguments of the same, this made him go to live with his aunt. Luan is the youngest of 2 siblings. He is an avowed agnostic. He is a supporter of São Paulo Futebol Clube. He can speak Portuguese, English and some French. From an early age he always had an easy time memorizing song lyrics in English. Despite knowing the language, he never attended any courses. His greatest artistic inspiration is the actor Daniel Radcliffe. He is a fanatical collector of items from the Harry Potter saga and the Supernatural series.
