Louis Yoelin is an American songwriter, composer, producer, and educator.
Early life and education
Yoelin earned a master's degree in music composition from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2005, and studied privately with Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Augusta Read Thomas.[1]
Career
Television and film
Yoelin’s work has been placed across television and film.[1] His song “Beat Me” (as part of the project Above Envy, with co-writer Stefan Litrownik) appears in the feature film American Reunion (2012).[2] Yoelin has written music for more than 1,000 television programs, with placements including How I Met Your Mother and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.[1]
Valora (Hollywood Records)
Yoelin co-wrote Valora’s single “I Waited for You,” released by Hollywood Records in 2011/2012.[3][4] The band’s Hollywood Records period was covered in music press.[5][6]
