Lotiyana is a small village of 167 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lotiyana depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lotiyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lotiyana's pin code is 305923[4], and village code is 02530100. The area of Lotiyana is segregated as 32 hectares irrigated area, 46 hectares unirrigated, the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
