Looniyasar is a small village of 1642 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Looniyasar depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 170.19% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Looniyasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Looniyasar's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02332200. The area of Looniyasar is segregated as 1089.3 hectares irrigated area, 369.28 hectares unirrigated, the 1.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 182.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Looniyasar is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2972 and has total administration over 503 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell ghee and make their living.
