Throughout his 20's, Liu traveled internationally extensively with Master Hsing Yun, meeting with global leaders and emissaries.

Liu immigrated to the United States in the late 1990's. He earned a Masters in Business Administration with specialties in Finance and Computer Information Systems at the University of LaVerne. After obtaining his MBA, Liu attended Whitter Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2004.

Significant Litigation Conducted by the Liu Law Firm

Wai Chun Shek v. Luckin Coffee Inc., et al.

The Liu Law Firm represented a class in the series of actions filed against Luckin Coffee in early 2020, with lead Plaintiff Wai Chun Shek, in Shek v. Luckin Coffee Inc., et al. The Consolidated Luckin Coffee actions ultimately settled for $175,000,000 on July 22, 2022.[1]

Actions Against the Luca Entities and Bingqing Yang=

The Liu Law Firm drew attention to the rampant mismanagement of Investors Funs and Misrepresentations to Clients performed by Bingqing Yang and the Luca Entities. The scheme was estimated by the Securities and Exchange Commission to have generated more than $68 million from illegal sales of illegal securities.

The Liu Law Firm filed their initial Class Action on August 6, 2015. The next day, the Luca Entities filed for bankruptcy in Texas.

Partially as a result of the awareness drawn to the scheme by Bingqing Yang and Luca Oil, the Securities Exchange Comission filed a Complaint against Yang, as well as all of the Luca Entities, on July 6, 2015.[2]

Political Activism

Liu has been an outspoken political commentator, particularly in relation to support for law and order, opposition to affirmative action, and promotion of the rights of Chinese Americans.

Liu has made numerous media appearances, in which he commented in favor of law and order, against affirmative action, and against Chinese hate speech.

In 2014, following the use of the term "Chinaman" by Fox News Anchor Bob Beckel on air, Liu hosted an event calling Beckel out, and pointing out the hypocrisy in America towards slurs against Asian people.[3] Congressmen Ted Lieu was one of the speakers at this event.

Liu started a petition in 2019 in Opposition to Senate Constitutional Amendment 5, which gained over 2,300 signatures on Change.org. Liu also started a petition in support of law enforcement and "law and order" following the beating of Wendy Shen in New York, a 68 year old Chinese Woman. This petition garnered over 2,500 signatures.
