Loharki is a small village of 7425 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Loharki depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Loharki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Loharki's pin code is 345023[4], and village code is 02049200. The area of Loharki is segregated as 105.06 hectares irrigated area, 3963.7 hectares unirrigated, the 1958.45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1321.32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell furniture and make their living.
