Lohariya Kalan is a small village of 164 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lohariya Kalan depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lohariya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
