Liu Mou (Chinese: 刘谋; born 17 April 1991), commonly referred to by his in-game handle PDD, is a retired Chinese professional esports player and well-known live streamer. He came into prominence among esports fans as one of the best top laners for team Invictus Gaming (iG) within the game League of Legends. After retiring from competitive play, Liu moved to streaming, where he has earned a large fan base.​[1]

Esports Career

Liu started his professional League of Legends career in 2011 as the top laner for Invictus Gaming. Throughout his time with iG, Liu was recognized for his aggressive style of play and mastery of champions like Renekton and Rumble. He helped the team win several domestic tournaments, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Chinese esports community. Liu retired from professional play in 2014 due to health issues.​[2]

Streaming and Online Life

Following his retirement from competitive play, Liu focused on streaming as a full-time profession on Huya and Douyu. With his friendly and outgoing personality coupled with extensive knowledge of League of Legends, Liu gained a big following. Most of Liu's streams consist of gameplay, comments, and responses to his followers, and because of this, he is ranked among China's top streamers.​[3]

Business Ventures

Outside of streaming, Liu has also become an entrepreneur in the gaming community. He is a co-founder of the esports team Young Miracles, which has played in China's lower League of Legends league, the League of Legends Development League (LDL). The team emphasizes developing young talent and has produced players who have moved on to play for the best teams.​[4]

Liu is famous for his witty and outspoken personality both on and off-stream. He frequently tells stories about his own life and esports experiences, winning him the hearts of fans. Even after his retirement from pro play, Liu is still a powerful figure among Chinese gamers.​
