Linval Thomas, who performs under the name Ashaka, is a reggae artist from Jamaica who served in the U.S. Air Force.[1][2] He is from the Fletcher's Land neighborhood of West Kingston] Jamaica.[3]
Thomas moved to the United States in 1971. He served in the Air Force for 22 years before returning to Jamaica and his career as reggae music performer and recording artist.[1]
