Linus Unah is a Nigerian journalist and writer.[1] He was a former reporter of Nigerian local news at Al Jazeera. His work has been published in The Guardian, IRIN News, The Christian Science Monitor, National Public Radio. Linus is a documentary student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.[2]
Early life and education
He badged Bachelor of Art in Mass Communication from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In 2019, he graduated with a certificate in peace journalism and digital journalism from Anadolu Agency News Academy.
Works
Linus started his journalism career as an associate editor for Youth Journalism International from October 2013 to August 2021. In 2020, he became the West African representative for WildAid|WildAid Environmental Organization. In 2022, he participated as wildlife video production intern at WildAid from February to June. He is the author of Security Cooperation in West Africa and the Sahel in 2018.

Awards
Unah received a grant award from Mongabay for Great Apes Special Reporting Project during the International Anti-Corruption Conference in Copenhagen in October, 2018.[5] In 2018, Unah won the Future Awards Africa Prize for Journalism.[6][7]
