Lilkar is a small village of 1207 hectares in Sikanderpur Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lilkar depends on Sikanderpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lilkar's pin code is 277303[4], and village code is 09111100. The area of Lilkar is segregated as 1396 hectares irrigated area, 385 hectares unirrigated area. the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 101 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikanderpur (NP) and Ballia to sell jaggery and make their living.
