Lilias Conroy is a Scottish artist who paints on silk.[1]
Education
Conroy's has stated that her only formal training was two days learning at Galashiels College of Textiles.[2]
Career
Conroy uses the Gutta Resist technique to portray images of architecture in raw silk.[3] In December 2023, she painted the backdrop for Jonathon Stone's production of the Ya Wee Beauty And The Beastie pantomime at the Kings Theatre in Kirkcaldy.[4][5]
Personal Life
Lilias Conroy married Pat Conroy in 2011.[1] She is based in Crail.[6]
