Likhatiya is a small village of 836 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Likhatiya depends on Galiakot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Likhatiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Likhatiya's pin code is 314035[4], and village code is 03349100. The area of Likhatiya is segregated as 13.36 hectares irrigated area, 276.21 hectares unirrigated, the 456.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
