Lewis Peter Hunter (born 14 April 2006) is a Semi-professional footballer who plays as a defender for North West Counties League club Charnock Richard. He primarily operates as a right-back, but can also be deployed at left-back Born in Liverpool, England Hunter has represented England at youth level.
Club career
Early life
Lewis Peter Hunter was born in Liverpool, England to a english mother and an english father and lived with his family in Chorley in England grew up there.
Lewis hunter joined the Blackburn Rovers Academy at a young age and stood out for his technical ability on the ball and his tenacious mindset which led to him being called up to the England u15 by manager Will Antwi in which he scored on his debut against Andorra u15.
Blackburn Rovers
Although Hunter never made an appearance for Blackburn Rovers he made a couple appearances on the bench in the FA Cup. After Picking up an ACL injury in 2019 Blackburn Rovers Released hunter on may 5th 2020. Along with several youth players.
Chorley F.C.
After being a free agent for 6 months Hunter was offered a trial at local side Chorley F.C. in november 2020. Hunter impressed on this trial and signed with the club two weeks later on 2nd December 2020.Hunter made his 1st appearance for his club on the 13th February 2021 coming on as a substitute in a 1-1 draw away to Gloucester City F.C.. However Hunter would have to wait until next season to make his home debut due to the 2020-21 season being cancelled.
Lewis Hunter would make his home debut for Chorley on the 14th august in a 0-1 home defeat against Brackley Town F.C. Hunter would make 3 appearances for Chorley in the 2021-22 season however recurring injuries ruled him out for a large part of the season
Hunter's Injury habits continued throughout pre season and in a friendley against Runcorn Linnetts F.C. hunter would suffer an achilles tear ruling him out for the whole season. on september 23rd Hunter agreed to a Mutual Termination of his contract ending his 1 and a half year stay at chorley.
Charnock Richard
After recovering from his achilles tear Hunter agreed a deal with local 9th tier side Charnock Richard F.C. He played toward the tail end of the 2022-23 season and made 7 appearances for the club scoring 3 goals in that period.
