Leta is a small village of 1723 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Leta depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 106.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Leta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Leta's pin code is 343001[4], and village code is 02294300. The area of Leta is segregated as 206 hectares irrigated area, 600 hectares unirrigated, the 700 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 216.89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Leta has One post office (Leta B.O) and Nine public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Leta has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Leta is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3498 and has total administration over 615 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1224 (34.99%) males constitute 634 (18.12%) of the population and females 590 (16.87%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
