Leow Fong Peng (also known as Datuk Lawrence Leow) is a Malaysian businessman and lawyer. He is the chief executive officer of Teamplete Sdn Bhd, an oil palm plantation company based in Sarawak. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its operations and received recognition at several regional business awards programmes.[1][2]
Career
Leow trained as a lawyer and is a partner at the Kuala Lumpur–based law firm Hong & Fong.[3]
He became chief executive officer of Teamplete Sdn Bhd in 2011, overseeing its oil palm plantation operations in Sarawak. Under his leadership, the company expanded its plantation area from about 145 hectares to over 20,000 hectares, achieved Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification, and resolved Native Customary Rights land issues. The company reported annual revenues exceeding RM100 million and employed more than 1,000 workers by 2025.[4]

In 2015, Teamplete Sdn Bhd was mentioned in the New Straits Times in relation to plantation boundary demarcation and incentive schemes for local landowners in Sarawak.[10]
In September 2023, Leow was a panel speaker at the symposium *"Sustaining the Family Legacy: How to Successfully Transition Across Generations,"* co-organized by Taylor’s University and A.D. Financial Group.[11]
Personal life
In June 2025, he was featured in a Father’s Day campaign by PIN Prestige Malaysia, where he discussed fatherhood and his relationship with his son.[12]
