Filoteo Maria Sorge (Rome, July 14, 1960), as known as Leo Sorge, is a technology popularizer, journalist, and author.

Biography

He graduated in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" with a thesis on the Evaluation of Risc architectures under Unix 4.0. He began writing about high fidelity (Ciao 2001, High Fidelity Music, Music) and authored programs on private Italian radios [1] (Radio Monte Cimone /RM, Radio Terminal Rome /RM, 7 Days 7 /PE). In 1980, while visiting Sinclair in Cambridge (UK), he became passionate about the first home computers, starting with the ZX-80 and 81, and became the reference editor for Vic20 and Commodore 64 thanks to his twenty-year collaboration with MCMicrocomputer and Linea EDP. He coordinated several industry publications, including PCUpgrade (MI). He produced content in many formats, including audiobooks (The Tale of Music), a series of Lit format books (Gullivertown 2003), and iNode on Wind (Numerological Horoscope, 2004).

He developed and often hosted numerous educational events on the digital world:
