Leo Kearse is a comedian from Scotland, UK. Kearse grew up in Penpont in Dumfriesshire. [1] Prior to becoming a comedian, Kearse worked as a criminal intelligence analyst then as a consultant in national security and government.[2]

Leo is known for being a right-wing comedian[3]. He campaigns for 'anti-woke' issues, such as the perceived right-wing bias on the BBC.[4][5]

Kearse was crowned the UK Pun Champion in 2015 and Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2017[6][7].

His breakthrough show "Right Wing Comedian" was banned from the Perth Fringe in Australia in 2019 when his material was accused of being transphobic[8]. It transpired that the allegedly transphobic material was written with his transgender girlfriend[9].

Kearse has spoken out against the Scottish Nationalist Party, Scottish independence and the Scottish Hate Crime Bill[10][11][12].

He has written for the Independent and the Sun[13][14].
