Leemthan is a small village of 415 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Leemthan depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Leemthan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Leemthan's pin code is 327604[4], and village code is 03448300. The area of Leemthan is segregated as 245 hectares irrigated area, 25 hectares unirrigated, the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Leemthan is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1491 and has total administration over 335 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell bricks and make their living.
