Leelsar is a small village of 540 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Leelsar depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Leelsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Leelsar's pin code is 344708[4], and village code is 02253600. The area of Leelsar is segregated as 494.67 hectares unirrigated, the 6.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 39.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.
