Lee Hyunsoo is a South Korean entrepreneur and professional drone pilot. Lee is known to be the first man to use drones to make films for the productions of television broadcasting companies in South Korea.[1] Since establishing his drone photography company Cinedron in 2010, Lee took drone films for numerous well-known Korean television shows, movies, music videos, commercials, concerts and more. He is, for example, known for Grandpa Over Flowers, Youth Over Flowers, Three Meals a day, and Youn's Kitchen. Lee also created drone footages for the music videos of the famous Korean boy band BTS.
In 2019, Cinedron was recognized as a dedicated R&D department by the Korea Industrial Technology Association. The company also developed 4-axis gimbal spider cam.[2] Lee is frequently invited to give talks at drone photography related events in South Korea.
