Lectron EV is a manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) charging adapters. The firm was founded in 2017, and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

History

Lectron was founded in 2017 by Christopher Maiwald.[1][2] Lectron appointed Jay Goldman as Chief Revenue Officer, who previously served in senior positions at Faraday Future, EVgo, and PlugShare.[3]

Since 2017, the company has installed over 10,000 charging stations in various locations across North America.[citation needed]

In 2023, Lectron introduced Level 1 and Level 2 EV Chargers for Tesla owners.[4][5][6]

Products

Lectron produces EV charging stations for home use.[7] The firm's products includes the V-Box home charging station,[8] and charging cables such as J1772-compliant adapters.[9][10]
