Laylah Ali Othman (born 29th January 1986) is a Nigerian interior designer, writer and reality TV presenter. She is the founder of the Non-profit organization, Laylah Initiative for the Boy and Girl Child Charity Foundation (LIBGC), a TV Host, Presenter of Voices of the Youth, the owner of L Magazine and also a chef[1].

Early life

Laylah Ali Othman was born in Yobe State. She lived the early parts of her life at Kaduna State, where she attended her nursery and primary school and later did her Junior & Senior Secondary School at Damaturu. She is currently the MD/CEO of Superb L&N (Laylah & Nahaar) Interiors and Exterior Décor Nig.[2] Ltd, L&N Kitchen and Almat Farms[1].

Education

She has a B.A in English Language from the University of Maiduguri, a Diploma in Interior Designing from Lotus Educational Institute, Dubai and a Diploma in Space Management from Maven School of Interior Décor and Design. In addition to her educational qualifications, she added a Doctorate Degree (Doctor of Management Science Honoris Causa in Entrepreneurship / Corporate Communication) at ESAE University, Benin Republic.

Layla Ali othman is the founder of the Non-profit organization, Laylah Initiative for the Boy and Girl Child Charity Foundation (LIBGC); a place where educational attention is givng to a particular group of children in need - ‘Almajiri’ and other underprivileged children[3].

Through her Reality TV Show, Laylah’s Way, she has reached out to the masses and the general public. She uses the TV show to aid people who can’t afford a luxury lifestyle or earn a decent living by giving them a complete home makeover[4]. Later on she became a TV Hostess & Presenter of Voices of the Youth. In this show, she channels positivity and psychological empowerment to young people on how to become entrepreneurs, teaching them the know-how in building sound financial statuses, and also tackling other issues the Nigerian youths face in the pursuit of better lives[5]. In addition to her media achievements, she is also the TV Presenter of Muryar Jama’a, a TV show which portrays the lives and culture of the Hausa people[4]. Laylah Ali Othman is the owner of L Magazine, a periodical that features content in Interior design, health and lifestyle; the Writer and Author of Something Deep and Masked books.
