Laxmipura is a small village of 505 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Laxmipura depends on Jobner, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 343.30% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Laxmipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Laxmipura's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01492700. The area of Laxmipura is segregated as 407.47 hectares irrigated area, 69.49 hectares unirrigated, the 10.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jobner and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
