Laxmi Pura is a small village of 1271 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Laxmi Pura depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 101.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Laxmi Pura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Laxmi Pura's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02770900. The area of Laxmi Pura is segregated as 201 hectares irrigated area, 182 hectares unirrigated, the 188 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 158 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
