Lawrence Oyor Gomba (born 16 June 1991) is a Nigerian gospel singer..[1][2], worship minister and cofounder of the Davidic Minstrels..[3]He was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Rev. Patience Oyor and Rev. Gomba Fortune Oyor, pastors of God Will Do It Ministries.[4][5]
Oyor was raised in a ministry-oriented household and was exposed to church worship, choir rehearsals and Christian teachings from an early age. He is a twin, alongside his brother Godswill Oyor[6], with whom he later established the Davidic Minstrels, a ministry focused on prophetic psalms, revival chants and worship gatherings[7][8]
He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ibadan in 2013 and subsequently proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Yola Campus. Although he initially pursued a legal career, Oyor later shifted to full-time Christian ministry following what he described as a personal calling to gospel work and evangelism
In 2016, he undertook further biblical and ministerial training at the Texas Bible Institute, preparing for leadership roles in worship and discipleship.
