A law firm is a commercial entity established by one or more attorneys to carry on the business of practising law in some capacity. In general, the primary service provided by a law firm is to advise clients (individuals or corporations) about their legal rights and responsibilities, as well as to represent clients in civil or criminal lawsuits, business transactions, and other matters in which legal advice or other assistance is required.
