Lavera is a small village of 951 hectares in Nasirabad Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lavera depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lavera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lavera's pin code is 305601[4], and village code is 02551700. The area of Lavera is segregated as 57 hectares irrigated area, 478 hectares unirrigated, the 338.81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 77 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nasirabad and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
