Laura McGhie
Laura McGhie is a Scottish presenter, journalist and broadcaster, best known as presenter on BBC Scotland's flagship news programme The Nine (BBC Scotland).
McGhie also hosts BBC Radio 5Live’s programmes, including Breakfast and Weekend Breakfast, and presents for BBC Sport.
Career
Shortly after graduation, McGhie joined BBC Scotland. In 2014 she worked at BBC Sport Scotland as a journalist, covering football and women's rugby, and presenting BBC Radio Scotland sports bulletins.
McGhie later joined The Nine (BBC Scotland) as a presenter for news programmes The Seven and Seven Days.
Alongside The Nine, McGhie has also been involved with several BBC Scotland non-news programmes, including presenting Road to the Olympics, International Netball Series and FOSROC Rugby Highlights for BBC Sport.
