Latara is a small village of 3388 hectares in Bali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Latara depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 349.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Latara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Latara's pin code is 306705[4], and village code is 02478700. The area of Latara is segregated as 359 hectares irrigated area, 480 hectares unirrigated, the 197 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1642.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Latara is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3245 and has total administration over 642 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
