Latambarcem is a small village of 3652 hectares in Bicholim Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Latambarcem depends on BICHOLIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Latambarcem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Latambarcem's pin code is 403503[5], and village code is 00008900. The area of Latambarcem is segregated as 41.43 hectares irrigated area, 1803.23 hectares unirrigated, the 1108.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 610.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Latambarcem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 6722 and has total administration over 1533 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BICHOLIM and North Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
