Lasara is a small village of 778 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lasara depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Lasara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lasara's pin code is 327605[4], and village code is 03407700. The area of Lasara is segregated as 179.04 hectares irrigated area, 239.01 hectares unirrigated, the 119.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 241.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lasara is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1675 and has total administration over 348 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell juggary and make their living.
