Lapiya is a small village of 1158 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lapiya depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lapiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lapiya's pin code is 311401[4], and village code is 02832400. The area of Lapiya is segregated as 102.3 hectares irrigated area, 389.09 hectares unirrigated, the 251.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 142.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lapiya is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1892 and has total administration over 420 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
