Lamuhi is a small village of 106 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lamuhi depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lamuhi's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09295600. The area of Lamuhi is segregated as 83.16 hectares irrigated area, 10.23 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 83.16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Reoti (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
