Lamehta is a small village of 399 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lamehta depends on Oran (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lamehta's pin code is 210203[4], and village code is 04826200. The area of Lamehta is segregated as 78 hectares irrigated area, 267 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lamehta is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1762 and has total administration over 276 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Oran (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
